Kristallidega (polüfosfaat) täidetud filtrielemente HA kasutatakse külma tarbevee töötlemiseks. Polüfosfaadid takistavad vee kuumutamisel katlakivisette moodustumist ning kaitsevad torustikku korrosiooni eest. Soovitatav elemendi kasutusaeg kuni 6 kuud ning elemendi korduvkasutamiseks on vajalik vahetada kristallid. Kuna HA element ei filtreeri vett on soovitatav kasutada eelfiltrit.
