Sobib suurepäraselt rõdukasti, terrassile või amplisse. Pelargoonidele sobib toitaineterikas lillemuld ning päikeseline kuni poolvarjuline kasvukoht. Taimi on võimalik kasvatada ka mitmeaastaste püsikutena, hoides talvel taimed külmumisvabalt.
