Rõhutab puidu tooni ja toob esile puidu strukruuri ning ei taksita puidu loomulikku hingamist. Õliga töödeldud pind kuumeneb vähem. Õli on lõhnatu, ei muuda saunale iseloomulikku puidulõhna.
