Kompostikäiviti muudab komposteerimise kiiremaks tänu toitainete sisaldusele mida vajavad lagundavad mikroorganismid. Pakendi kogus on 2 kg. Kompostikäiviti graanulid sisaldavad rohkesti lämmastikku, mis toimib toitainena kompostijäätmeid lagundavatele mikroorganismidele. Nii muutub komposteerimine kiiremaks. Puistata kihiti 5–10 cm vahedega kompostimassi sisse 100 g. Pihustada sügisel pärast saagi korjamist mahalangenud õunapuulehtedele 5%-lise lahusena (100 g / 2 l vett). 100 g = umbes kohvitassi täis 1,5 dl.
