Karbamiid on kontsentreeritud (N 46%) vees lahustuv lämmastikväetis aia- ja põllukultuuridele külvieelseks või kasvuaegseks väetamiseks. Karbamiid sobib hästi kastmis- või pritsimislahusena kasutamiseks. Karbamiidi granuleerituna kasutades on soovitav seda kasutada üheaegselt fosfor- ja kaaliumväetistega, segades väetised vahetult enne mulda viimist. Karbamiidi graanulid segatakse mulda või valmistatakse kastmis- või pritsimislahus. Viljapuid ja põõsaid väetatakse kuni õitsemiseni lehtede kaudu (1-2% lahusega, st 1-2 kg/100 L veele). Kastmislahuseks võtta 10 L vee kohta 5-7 g ja kanda see ühele ruutmeetrile.
Pritsides hävitatakse kahjurite (lehetäide, õunapuu-lehekirpude, puukide jm) munad, vastsed ja haiguste (antraknoosi, laikpõletiku, karusmarja jahukastme) tekitajad.
Õunapuu kärntõve vastu pritsitakse vahetult enne lehtede varisemist sügisel lahusega 500 g/100 l vees, kevadel enne lehepungade puhkemist 500-800 g/100 l vees, kirsipuid luuviljaliste mädaniku vastu varakevadel enne pungade puhkemist 300-500 g/10 l vees, Ploomipuude mädaniku vastu pritsitakse sügisel pärast saagi koristamist 400 g/10 L vees.
