Fortex Extra on multifunktsionaalne hingav aluskate. Kolmekihiline hingav polüpropüleenist difusioonmembraan koos kahe kleepribaga on kasutatav katustel aluskattena ning seinas tuuletõkkena. Membraan on täielikult tuult ja vett mitteläbilaskev, kuid veeauru läbilaskev. See laseb niiskuse aluskattest läbi, kuid tagasi soojustusse enam mitte. Sobilik kõigile katustele aluskatteks. Paigaldatakse otse soojustusmaterjalile horisontaalselt üle kogu katuse või seina. Ülekatte kohalt eemaldatakse mõlemad teipide kaitsekiled ja silutakse aluskate kokku. Kleepribad tagavad erilise tiheduse ja kaitse tuule ja vee eest. See sobib eriti hästi väikese kaldega katustele. Katuse konstruktsioonis võib täita ka tuuletõkke ülesannet.
