BalticAgro varjutuskangast kasutatakse igihaljaste taimede (näiteks pukspuude, ebaküpresside, elupuude, rododendronite, kanada kuuse `Conica`, kiviktaimla igihaljaste taimede jne) varakevadise päikesepõletuse kaitseks ja okaspuude istutusjärgseks varjutamiseks.
Varjutamine aitab vähendada vee aurumist igihaljastest lehtedest ja okastest, see kaitseb taimi varakevadise ereda päikese ning õrnemaid taimi ka tugeva jäise tuule eest. Istutusjärgsel varjutamisel juurdub taim paremini ning okaste kuivamise oht on väiksem.
Varjutuskangas on ultraviolettkiirgusekindel ning 42% ja 60% varjutusvõimega. Kasutusaeg on 8-10 aastat. Tugev kootud materjal kannatab ka tugevamaid tormituuli. Mõõtmed on 1,5 x 50 m, 75 m².
