Biolani Talvekate paigaldatakse siis, kui lehed on kollaseks muutunud ja suurelt osalt juba mahagi pudenenud ning maapind on külmunud. Parim aeg taimede katmiseks on siis, kui õhutemperatuur on pidevalt umnes -5 kraadi. Biolan Talvekate on külmakartlike taimede, näiteks rooside, elulõngade ja mitmete püsikute ja sibullillede, viinamarjade, lavendli, delfiiniate jne. talvepakase eest katmiseks mõeldud toode. Ümber roosi, rodo või elulõnga kuhjatakse kuni 20cm kõrgune kuhi. Püsikute katmisel piisab 5-10cm paksusest kihist.
