Osmo Polyx®-Oil Tints tinted oil wax is a translucent, silky-matte finish that combines natural oils and waxes. Surfaces treated with Osmo Polyx® oil wax remain exceptionally strong and durable, and are water- and dirt-repellent. Compared to conventional finishes, the use of plant-based ingredients creates a more uniform and harmonious appearance. Tinted: white (3040) The microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Resistant to stains from wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, milk, juice, and water (DIN 68661-1A). The dry finish is safe for people, animals, and plants, and is suitable for finishing children’s toys in accordance with EU standard EN 71.3. Saliva- and sweat-resistant (DIN 53160). Osmo Polyx® Tinted Oil Wax is suitable for both protection and as a decorative finish on all types of wood floors—such as solid wood, plank parquet, OSB, and cork floors—as well as furniture. Renovation, even partial, is easy. Simply clean the surface and reapply the oil. There is no need to sand or remove the old oil wax. The durability of floors treated with Osmo oil wax exceeds that of conventional parquet varnishes and waxes. Osmo Polyx oil wax is based on vegetable oils and waxes. The treated surface will not crack, dry out, or peel. It is also suitable for treating surfaces in rooms with high humidity. Osmo oil wax is easy to apply. The wood grain and color remain accentuated. A floor treated with oil wax becomes more beautiful and valuable over time. Apply 1 transparent coat; a maximum of 2 coats. It is recommended to finish the treatment with a standard colorless oil wax. Natural oils and waxes penetrate deep into the wood, keeping it flexible and healthy, and preventing it from becoming dry and brittle.
