Makita suure võimsusega juhtmeta varstolmuimeja, mis töötab 18 V LXT akuga. Tolmuimejat juhitakse kahe nupuga: üks on imemisvõimsuse režiimide muutmiseks, teine on tolmuimeja sisse- väljalülitamiseks. Rohelised indikaatortuled nuppude kõrval näitavad valitud imemisvõimsust. Kergesti tühjendatav tolmukogumismahuti. Tänu muudetud konstruktsiooniga korpuse ehitusele on DCL284 oluliselt vaiksem kui eelnevad mudelid. Tarnitakse ilma aku ja laadijata. Komplekti kuulub tolmuimeja, põrandaotsik, kitsas otsik.
