A parallel-type self-regulating heating cable for protecting roofs and rain gutters against freezing and for maintaining the temperature of pipes and tanks in steamless systems.
The Grand Meyer UHC-25 is a low-temperature ribbon-type cable featuring a co-extruded carbon matrix with PE insulation and 1.0 mm² tinned copper parallel conductors. The heating capacity varies depending on the ambient temperature. Two layers of insulation and an outer sheath ensure high resistance to UV radiation, moisture, impact, and abrasion. A metal braid provides mechanical protection for the cable and ensures a reliable ground connection. The self-regulating principle allows the power output to automatically adjust to the ambient temperature, eliminating the risk of overheating or burning out even when the cable is crossed with other cables or installed under insulation.
Applications: freeze protection for roofs, rain gutters, industrial and residential piping, and tanks.
