Pärsia ristik on õrnroosade õitega üheaastane ristik. Suurepärane söödataim, vahekultuur ja meetaim. Vahekultuurina kasvatatakse teda mullaviljakuse parandamise eesmärgil, tugevad juured kobestavad mulda, lisaks pakub ta suurt konkurentsi umbrohtudele. Liblikõielise kultuurina seob tänu juuremügarais olevatele mügarbakteritele õhulämmastikku ja rikastab niiviisi mulda looduslikult lämmastikuga. Väga hea meetaim. Õitsemise ajal levitab erakordselt tugevat lõhna meelitades suurel hulgal mesilasi ligi. Lisaks õitseb taim kaua. Meeproduktiivsus 150-200kg/ha.
