UPONOR S-PRESS PLUS PPSU AL-PEX 16x16 mm Coupling

Uponor S-Press Plus PPSU Al-Pex 16 x 16 mm coupling. Designed for use in water supply and heating systems, S-Press Plus press fittings are manufactured from both DR-marked brass and ultra-high-strength PPSU polymer. DR brass is a material that does not leach zinc into drinking water and is an accepted material for fittings in the Nordic countries, where drinking water requirements are very strict. PPSU is lightweight and extremely durable. Both fitting series feature updated sealing systems that allow them to be installed on pipes without the need for chamfering or calibration procedures. The press sleeves are made of stainless steel and therefore do not require additional insulation during installation, for example, in concrete. An unpressed fitting is easily identifiable thanks to a leak indicator. This means that an unpressed fitting allows water to pass through even under low pressure. A film on the fitting also indicates an unpressed connection; that is, the film on the sleeve peels off after pressing is completed. Always use pipes and fittings from the same manufacturer in a single system, such as Uni Pipe Plus or Metallic Pipe Plus pipes and S-Press Plus fittings from Uponor. Always use the tools recommended by the pipe and fitting manufacturer.
